RESOLUTION

While I was out today I bumped into a friend from uni who reminded me just how ridiculously soon it is until we go back - only five days left! Geeeez. I mean I'm neither excited nor dreading it but I certainly haven't mentally prepared myself for another year of study. Like every other student, I've made resolutions to apply myself more this year. I was one of those kids that always did well at school but since I've come to uni, I've been cruising through, skipping classes here and there. But with only a year and a half left I'm determined to boost my GPA and get those elusive 6s and 7s. Wish me luck!

NATALIE

Yet another favourite blogger of mine, Natalie Suarez. I'm pretty much biased to loving anyone with mixed heritage as I myself am half Samoan, half English; so Natalie, with her exotic Spanish-Chinese mix automatically makes her awesome in my books. Not to mention, the girl has seriously great style. Next time I'm going to the hairdresser's I'm telling them to give me hair like hers.

WUTHERING HEIGHTS

I've finished Pride and Prejudice and now I've moved on to Wuthering Heights :) I'm not far in so I can't give my full opinion yet but it's definitely got me hooked.

GALA LOVE

Here's an assortment of photos from the fabulous Gala Gonzalez's blog. It's been long since I've fawned over a fashion blogger on here (the last being the lovely Ponyhunter) but I thought these shots were worth sharing. On a totally different tangent, I feel rather ashamed to admit that I had yet another disgustingly long sleep in today - till 11am :( I soooo need to break this habit before I go back to uni and early morning classes!

A LONELY SPARK

I'm pretty pleased cos I finally got my mac fixed :) The plastic on the bottom of it was majorly coming off and (I didn't realise until one of the mac guys showed me) there were some minor cracks in my display screen. Anyways, they replaced the bottom and the screen for me (free of charge!) and now I have a lovely, functioning macbook that doesn't look like it's falling to bits. Yay for the awesome mac store people!

CAVE DWELLER

I've been meaning to write over the 3 month break. Something. Anything. But so far, I haven't really done much. However, the muse (ha!) came to me whilst I was awake in the hideously early hours of the morning. The finished product: a short but sweet piece entitled Homebody Festivities. I emailed it off to the folks at Thought Catalog - essentially it's a place for writers to publish the completely random articles they probably won't get published elsewhere. That probably makes it sound like they must be rubbish or something, which believe me, they're not. Anyways...probably a little ambitious of me to send something in considering the fact that most of the other contributors are actual full-time journos/writers. But hey, I'm not afraid of trying!

WHITE FEATHER

Goodness me. It's just gone 3am and I am awake. Noooooooo!!! If you're at all wondering why this is so, (if you're not, well...I'm telling you anyway) it's because my crazy mother is currently up and about the house and she came into my room and (accidentally) woke me up. Now I won't be able to go back to sleep :(
